Hard work was not an abstract idea in Jeremy’s family. It was simply how life was lived.

His grandfather started the family farm, and his father later took it over. Jeremy grew up seeing that meaningful work requires long days, personal responsibility, and the willingness to finish what needs to be done. He still returns to help on the farm whenever he can.

Jeremy is deeply grateful for the love and support of his family, both while growing up and in the life they share today. Their example keeps him grounded and reminds him that no accomplishment is achieved entirely alone.

At the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with minors in Computer Science and Philosophy while also competing as a collegiate wrestler.

He continued his education at Marquette University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor and a Litigation Certificate. Jeremy is proud of both institutions and the demanding academic, athletic, and practical preparation they provided.

Rooted in Sussex and invested in community.

Jeremy lives in Sussex with his family. He is a member of the Sussex Lions Club and helped form ATV 4 Vets, a nonprofit that connects veterans with outdoor recreation and community.

For Jeremy, community involvement is another form of responsibility: showing up, lending a hand, and helping create opportunities for people to connect.

Always working toward the next challenge.

Jeremy enjoys bowling, hunting, fishing, running, and hiking through deep woods and mountain terrain. He is currently training for a half marathon and has completed 11 Tough Mudder events.

These pursuits reflect the same mindset he brings to the rest of his life: prepare, keep moving, and do not quit when the work becomes difficult.
